Day 281 Dogging and keeping Cool

Whilst out doing some photos of people out dogging in Hong Kong I came across this mercurial man and his really cool dog. Literally Cool. He had converted a cool box usually reserved for beer and sandwiches and had made a very cool dog house. No more Hot Dog, no more sizzling little hottie, the base had two layers of frozen ice then a layer of insulation, pink of course, for the dog. In the underside of the lid he had fitted a small battery operated fan and as you can see a matching blue umbrella. Take note Steve Jobs this could be the next big thing in the dogging world!

Day 279 Eddie Cochran age 5

I came across this young man playing his home made guitar on the streets of Bangkok. A veritable latter day George Formby with a definite Thai Twist. I think you can tell he was a wanna be rock-a-billy rebel by his emerging quiff and nifty red pants. (think I have a picture of myself in the very pair about the same age) Maybe all parents go oh he is five now time for the red shorts. I pondered and took a few photos, well one actually, and then offered him the customary handful of coins in pocket, hoping to illicit a smile. It was then I noticed who I hope was his father just behind me with an expression that I think said look at my boy, but may have been look at the money rolling in. I continued on my way photo in the camera and my purchases from the market in hand back to the cool air of the sky train. Where I happened upon a young family of gypsies. I know this sounds like a joke but a young couple with four beautiful children all under 7 getting on the sky train. There dress so different, colourful and interesting, I doubt they were both over 25 years old. Tempted as I was to lift up my camera at the beautiful young girls with a plethora of earrings and matching floral dresses, bangles and hair braids, I did not. I did manage to get some rather nice hand crafted clothes pegs though and my palm read all for under 1000 Baht.
